About the Item
Original artwork by renowned ceramicist, Jared FitzGerald. This was part of a small series done by the artist studio to explore using bold colored glazes on smaller ceramic forms. These are priced as more of a marketing incentive to showcase the artist's new concepts. All are signed by the artist and come with customized protective silk boxes. "Energies of Wind" has a blend of bold primary colors and gestural brushstrokes that make for a bold & playful aesthetic. The flying butterfly figure amidst abstracted clouds, trees and whirling winds evokes a sense of perseverance amidst great change. As indicated by the rotated angle shots, this piece has a circular narrative that harmonizes the entire 360-degree scene. Depending on which side serves as the facade, the piece can be rotated to change the scene and the aesthetic. Many collectors enjoy this smaller/ open form of vase as a centerpiece on credenzas, dressers and tabletops.
