About the Item

My works are part of a reflection at the crossroads of the scientific laboratory, the curiosity cabinet and the museum of natural history. It is from the transformation potential of matter, object and being that I analyze the connections between humans, nature and instruments. How, for example, can we model natural phenomena through assemblages of ideas and images? This is one of my challenges, in relation to nature and current technologies. Between low-tech and high-tech, the organisms and phenomena that I suggest evolve in fictional universes that appear futuristic and technological. An exploration of the porosity of the existing boundaries between art and science, and also between nature and artifice, emerges.
