About the Item
Geometric abstract oval wall sculpture painted with bright blue paint by Houston artist Matthew Reeves. The uniqueness of this blue does not derive from the ultramarine pigment, but rather from the matte, synthetic resin binder in which the color is suspended which allows the pigment to maintain as much of its original qualities and intensity of color as possible. Three dimensional in nature, the work features a variety of geometric shapes attached to a wooden base.
Artist Biography: Matthew Reeves is the owner of Reeves Art & Design. He graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in business and he practices as an artist as a hobby. He lives and works in Houston, Texas.
