About

Paz Perlman is a visual artist who is currently living in New York and exhibits internationally. She previously lived in the UK where she completed her degree in fine arts at Central St Martins, University of Arts, London. Born and brought up in Israel, her works, created entirely from found objects, highlight imperfection and the collapse of linear time as well as the continuous process of destruction and rebirth.

For Perlman, the studio is a temple, refuge, lab and playground. When creating, she works through a Cagean chance methodology in order to keep open to recognizing and responding to something as it happens. This allows her to embrace the not knowing and trust the process.
