The idea of fragment emerged in the concrete sculpture format offers a clear view of the post-modern condition. The employment of mixed materials, apparently difficult to associate, such as concrete and colored glass beads, recall the images from the ancient Roman fragments of sculpture and mosaics.
The sculpture was part of a series of works dedicated to the reinterpretation of the fragments of the antic Roman sculpture of Constantine the Great.
