The Skipper (Le Pacha), one-off sculpture by French contemporary artist Cécile Raynal.
Sculpture in smoked sandstone, steel and cotton. 2012-2013. 50 cm × 31 cm × 25 cm.
It belongs to a series entitled "Ship Crew" that the artist created during and after a 90-day residency onboard a containership sailing between Europe and the Antilles. This sandstone bust lays on a base made of constituted of stacked working clothes. It is a one-off piece, delivered with certificate of authenticity.
