About

The cultural heritage of Rome scattered all over Europe has not been the subject of a broad-ranging declaration. This heritage makes up a large network of major sites of the Roman Empire, many of which are listed World Heritage Sites. Rome was capital of the Empire and capital of culture and art and the emperors were the grantors and Nero, represented in this beautiful sculpture , was one of the most famous and important emperors. The sculpture realized by a Roman sculptor as from the Roman academy tradition, is carved with three marbles as from ancient usage: pure statuary marble for the portrait of the emperor, to let see the facial expressions and soul, a specimen rare and unique Cipollino marble standing on a gray bardiglio marble base. Nero . The Grand Tour was the 17th- and 18th-century a traditional trip through Europe undertaken by upper-class young European men of sufficient means and rank (typically accompanied by a chaperone, such as a family member) when they had come of age (about 21 years old).
