"Carved Half Circles and Triangle Earrings" ethically sourced gold, contemporary
Located in Morgan Hill, CA
Forged by Providence, Rhode Island based Jewelry Artist, Heather Guidero, this pair of earrings feature a half-circle with 4 triangular dangles and are made with ethically-sourced gold. The graphic lines, textures, and patterns of her work are inspired by elements of modernist design, fashion, and urban architecture. Innately wearable, Heather’s collection boldly accentuates your personal style, her considerations of natural movement enabling the jewelry to come alive when worn. About Heather Guidero Having grown up under the open skies of rural Indiana, surrounded by animals and agriculture, Heather Guidero early on discovered a love for drawing everything in sight. A community arts center class led to her surprising fascination with jewelry and two decades later, she is as enamored with the metalsmithing process as ever. It shows in her masterfully handcrafted collection of contemporary fine jewelry. Formally trained at RISD, Heather worked as a goldsmith for renowned jewelry company Reinstein/Ross in New York before returning to Providence, Rhode Island to launch her namesake collection in 2005. Her interest in using line to render drawings three-dimensionally results in unique explorations of volume, movement, and pattern that transform into personal and interactive sculpture on the body. “Settling in at my bench and picking up my favorite antique files is as natural and reflexive as breathing. There's something comforting about the feel of my favorite tools in hand and being able to turn a sheet of metal or length of wire into a piece of jewelry that will be treasured and worn on a regular basis.” The graphic lines, textures, and patterns of her work are inspired by elements of modernist design, fashion, and urban architecture translated into ethically-sourced gold and silver. Select pieces are accented by brilliant diamonds or colorful gemstones. Innately wearable, Heather’s collection boldly accentuates your personal style, her considerations of natural movement enabling the jewelry to come alive when worn. Her work has been featured at prominent museums and galleries across the country including the Museum of Art and Design (NYC), DeNovo (Palo Alto, CA), and Jewelerswerk (Washington DC). She also regularly presents new work at wholesale shows such as the American Craft Council Wholesale Show and the Buyers Market of American Craft. Every piece in Heather’s collection is constructed and finished by hand in her Providence studio. In balance with her studio practice, Heather teaches jewelry classes around Providence, where she helps teens and young adults learn new metalsmithing skills. She counteracts long hours at the jewelry bench...

Located in Southampton, NY
Sanseviero's metal sculptures fool the eye. His "illusion sculptures" are amazingly only 1/16th of an inch thick and yet they appear to be 3 dimensional boxes with open centers that are stacked on top of each other. I have included a side view so that you can see how thin this illusion sculpture is. He first designs how the formation of "Boxes" will layout and then hand cuts the shape he has just designed. He then welds the flat sculpture...

The Long and the Short of It - Modern Blue Organic Geometric Steel Sculpture
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Inspired by dance and weightlessness, Granville Beals' industrial metal sculptures are primarily about relationships. Concerned with form and abstraction, he does not merely manipulate metals to defy the expectation of the medium forms, but explores the relationship between the human figure and the landscape, color and texture, and most importantly between people at an individual and social level. He established innovative ways to push the boundaries of his technique, creating modern abstract geometric designs inspired by contemporary art and architecture as well as organic forms expressing the unique vision for humanity in a modern world. This blue contemporary sculpture...

Located in Surfside, FL
Brad Howe (born 1959) is an American sculptor from California. His work has been exhibited domestically and internationally. This is done in a bold and colorful Pop Art style reminiscent of the work of the Memphis Milano Group. Brad Howe was born in 1959 in Riverside, California. As a student of International Relations at Stanford University, Howe attended the University of São Paulo to specialize in Literature and Economic History. It was there that he discovered his passion for art and architecture that would eventually lead to his first exhibitions. He started his career as a sculptor in Brazil, using stainless steel, aluminum and polyurethane. He credits sculptor Alexander Calder as an early influence in his work. Since then, he has exhibited in over eighteen countries worldwide and his works have been placed in collections in more than 32 countries, including Brazil, Mexico, France, Germany, South Korea and United States. His work can also be found at various universities including Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, Temple University in Philadelphia, and UCLA. Monumental and Public Art have become a major focus of his career. Over the past ten years, he has completed over 30 public projects in 7 different countries. One of his sculptures can be seen in the city of Palo Alto, California. Moreover, as part of the Beverly Hills Centennial Arts of Palm Installation, he designed four sculptures outside the Beverly Hills City Hall, on North Santa Monica Boulevard in Beverly Hills, California. The Crocker Art Museum (Sacramento, California), the Honolulu Museum of Art, the Lancaster Museum of Art and History (Lancaster, California), and the Pasadena Museum of California Art (Pasadena, California) are among the museums holding work by Brad Howe. His work was included in the Arts of Palm exhibition in Beverly Hills, palm trees by prominent artists including Brad Howe, Michael McMillen, Mike Stilkey, Peter Shire, Peter Alexander and Ryan Schmidt. His studio is actively completing site-specific commissions and installations for cities, universities, museums, and private corporations.
