Pieces from the Italian fashion house–particularly those from the early 1990s–just seem to get hotter and hotter. To wit, Miley Cyrus recently wore a strappy leather mini-dress from the label’s famed Bondage collection, purchased from 1stdibs dealer Resurrection Vintage<\/a>. Cyrus’ dress is a prime example of what collectors are busily snapping up: early 1990s black minidresses with purposefully un-subtle logo treatments.<\/p>\n

The trademark Versace approach to dressing–unabashed sex appeal and heavy ornamentation–feels as relevant now as it did 25 years ago. Which, all things considered, makes for a pretty good investment.<\/p>\n
