garlands, a vintage oil burner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1stdibs.com\/furniture\/decorative-objects\/candle-holders\/candelabras\/\">candelabra<\/a> and filled the marble and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1stdibs.com\/furniture\/decorative-objects\/bowls-baskets\/material\/murano-glass\/\">Murano crystal bowls<\/a> on the table with organic finds from nature, like pods, horns and seeds.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The holiday additions play well with the room\u2019s existing French 1920s feel. \u201cIt\u2019s confidently glamorous and festive, but done in a tasteful, monochromatic fashion.\u201d To carry this forward in your own home, he recommends playing with contrasts: \u201cI juxtaposed organic against smooth, and natural against sparkly metallics.\u201d<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1stdibs.com\/creators\/maison-jansen\/furniture\/seating\/\">Jansen armchair<\/a> is on an area rug by <a Our botanical materials included foliage, fruits and nuts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He made sure all festive additions to the dining table had a practical use. Case in point: the gilt pineapple <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1stdibs.com\/buy\/vintage-ice-buckets\/\">ice buckets<\/a> on the custom dining table. He then accented the green color scheme with shine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1stdibs.com\/furniture\/building-garden\/planters-jardinieres\/material\/terracotta\/\">terracotta plant pots<\/a> on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1stdibs.com\/furniture\/tables\/console-tables\/\">console<\/a> were exchanged for mirrored pots. It adds an instant seasonal feel,\u201d says the designer.
