For this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1stdibs.com\/project\/shinola-hotel-detroit-mi\/122142\/\">hotel launched by Detroit-based watch brand Shinola<\/a>, Gachot says, &#8220;we wanted to make sure the space was warm, welcoming and representative of Detroit&#8217;s rhythm, history and future.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Oak flooring with custom patterning and dark oak borders, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1stdibs.com\/furniture\/rugs-carpets\/material\/wool\/\">wool area rugs<\/a>, mohair and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1stdibs.com\/furniture\/seating\/sofas\/material\/leather\/\">leather sofas<\/a> and a fireplace, along with books we selected and artwork curated by Library Street Collective, create a residential respite for visitors,\u201d she adds.
