in Italian, says Salci, explaining that the piece is so named &#8220;because it is part of DimoreMilano\u2019s first collection.&#8221;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&#8220;It is an artisanal object in which you can see the brass degrade,&#8221; he says. &#8220;Art, fashion, architecture and, especially, 19th- and 20th-century design.&#8221;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&#8220;This object\u2019s roots come from a thought or conversation that can be related to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1stdibs.com\/creators\/anni-albers-1899-1994-german\/furniture\/\">Anni Albers<\/a>\u2019s rugs or skyscrapers from the 1930s,\u201d he adds. &#8220;The Capostipite is not a classic bookcase. It\u2019s an object, one that is demanding and very present. It fills a space on its own.
