Styles that update, or borrow from the classic straight-line design, are the new jewelry essentials. \u201cA bezel-set diamond tennis bracelet<\/a> has a cool vibe,\u201d she adds. \u201cOr one with unique diamond shapes like marquise<\/a>, cushion<\/a> or emerald cut<\/a>. You might also see round<\/a> and baguette diamonds<\/a> or even colored gemstones alternating in the mix.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhile the Love bracelet makes an excellent gift, we often notice clients buying one for themselves,\u201d says Nicole Terramoccia, a jewelry specialist at MyGemma<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s iconic, easily recognized, fashion-forward and versatile.\u201d But be careful when shopping the secondary market: \u201cMake sure you are buying from a reputable seller<\/a> that has experience authenticating Love bracelets,\u201d she says. \u201cThey are highly counterfeited<\/a> due to their popularity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t feel limited to the usual birthstone jewels, like a gem-and-diamond pendant or ring, when there is an abundance of options for every aesthetic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe purchase of a birthstone jewel is an intimate, personal thing; it should be a piece you will cherish forever, one that is unique, exquisitely crafted and speaks to you,\u201d she says. \u201cIt will hold your memory and you can hand it down to the next generation. For example, we love amethysts<\/a>, and many of our rings contain this serene purple stone<\/a>. And this bold and stylish aquamarine ring<\/a> from Italian artist jeweler Giorgio Facchini<\/a> looks almost like a catamaran holding its precious mermaid\u2019s treasure.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
