Our efforts were rewarded when we stumbled upon this mid-1970s clip of Furstenberg guesting on a talk show with her similarly-accented pal, Karl Lagerfeld. Start the video at the two-minute mark to view a mini-presentation of looks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Naturally, both guests provide an endless stream of bon mots (Karl: &#8220;I don&#8217;t know nothing about the prices of my clothes!&#8221;), but the most shocking thing may be how so many of Furstenberg&#8217;s garments would not look out-of-place on a contemporary runway (or sidewalk).
