The Herm\u00e8s Bolide 45 1923 Baseball Evercolor travel bag<\/a> is the ultimate accessory for baseball fans who like a touch of high fashion in their gear. The limited-edition piece debuted as part of the Herm\u00e8s<\/a> Spring\/Summer 2018 men\u2019s collection, which was designed to evoke a sense of \u201csophisticated letting go,\u201d V\u00e9ronique Nichanian, artistic director of the Herm\u00e8s men\u2019s universe, told Vogue<\/em> at the time<\/a>. Impeccable, but not self-serious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Bolide<\/a> is an Herm\u00e8s staple, with a simpler aesthetic than some of the brand\u2019s other designs<\/a>,\u201d says Jane Angert, a passionate Herm\u00e8s collector and proprietor of JaneFinds<\/a>, which is offering the bag on 1stDibs. \u201cCreated by \u00c9mile-Maurice Herm\u00e8s in 1923, it was the first handbag to feature a zipper.\u201d She notes that \u201cits understated, chic design and blend of functionality and elegance have made it a classic favorite in Paris and Tokyo,\u201d two fashion capitals recognized for their refined taste.<\/p>\n\n\n
