From Vogue<\/em><\/a> to Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/em><\/a>, publication after publication has heralded the revival of animal prints in fashion<\/a> over the past several months. Brands including Alexander McQueen<\/a>, Dior<\/a> and Versace<\/a> featured cheetah spots and leopard prints in their Fall 2024 collections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here at 1stDibs, we’ve learned that interior designers are beginning to warm up to these patterns, too. Our 2025 Designer Trends Survey<\/a> revealed that trade interest in leopard<\/a> and other animal prints is on the rise. The number of designers who hoped to use them in projects jumped from 4 percent for 2024<\/a> to 6 percent for 2025. Enthusiasm among those outside the U.S. was even greater, with 10 percent intending to employ the motifs. With 33 percent of respondents indicating they’ll be embracing maximalism in 2025, the trend certainly has room to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are plenty of wonderful animal-print textiles and other pieces to choose from, as any design lover knows. Scalamandr\u00e9<\/a>\u2019s iconic Tigre fabric<\/a> has made its way onto chairs, pillows and even dog beds<\/a>. Schumacher<\/a>\u2019s Ze’bre is another classic, favored by style mavens \u2014 we spotted it in Paloma Elsesser\u2019s Brooklyn home<\/a> \u2014 and it\u2019s available in rug form<\/a>, too.
