At the beginning of the 1999 rom-com classic Notting Hill<\/em>, Anna Scott (played by Julia Roberts<\/a>) walks into a bookshop clad in a Chanel<\/a> beret, oh-so-tiny sunglasses and a sharp leather blazer<\/a>. Although similar jackets made appearances across pop-culture genres in the \u201990s \u2014 whether worn by Sarah Michelle Gellar as the titular character in Buffy<\/em> or by Keanu Reeves as Neo in the Matrix<\/em> films \u2014 Roberts’s outfit was the definitive cool-girl take. It\u2019s the spirit of that exceedingly memorable look that today\u2019s It girls are channeling in their re-embrace of the leather blazer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
