Thanksgiving hasn\u2019t arrived yet, but TikTok is already getting decorated for the winter holidays. If our For You Page is any indication, this year in homes across the country, Christmas cheer is being made manifest in the most traditional fashion. Pine garlands, red-velvet<\/a> ribbons and plaids abound in a look dubbed \u201cRalph Lauren<\/a> Christmas.\u201d You\u2019ll spot more than a few teddy-bear motifs in these living- and dining-room schemes too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the New York Times<\/em> reports<\/a>, it isn\u2019t simply about buying Christmas decorations<\/a> from Ralph Lauren<\/a>. Many shoppers are emulating the American designer’s classic decor style using bargain finds or vintage pieces. It\u2019s another trend powered by a yearning for the past, \u201cWith this whole resurgence of nostalgia, a minimalist Christmas doesn\u2019t go with that,\u201d designer Sara Parker told the Times<\/em>. \u201cThat\u2019s why these rich Ralph Lauren colors are more appealing, because they kind of go more in tune with traditionalism.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
