The GMT-Master II boasts the most nicknames of any Rolex collection, and the Pepsi<\/a> is its most enduring. The model’s bezel is half red and half blue, like the Pepsi logo, but Rolex often refers to the color scheme as the BLRO (bleu\/rouge<\/em> or blue\/red).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The watch is also called the Pussy Galore because it was worn by the character of that name in the 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger<\/em>. Introduced in 1955, the original GMT-Master Pepsi, Reference 6542, had a bezel made of Bakelite; it was produced for six years, and examples are hard to find today. Later versions had aluminum bezels, but in 2014, Rolex released one with a Cerachrom ceramic bezel displaying the signature red and blue. The bracelets were Oyster style until 2018, when the Jubilee became available on the steel version. Celebrities love the Pepsi, including Daniel Craig, who wears a gold one with an Oyster bracelet, and Orlando Bloom, who sports a steel Pepsi with a Jubilee bracelet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
