\u201cOver the past two or three years, I have sold many incredible pieces back to the house of Buccellati for its growing archive, now enriched with statement pieces such as this,\u201d he says. \u201cThe cuff is very different because of the fine filigree pattern. Many people know Buccellati for the rigato<\/em> engraving [in which multiple thin parallel lines give the gold a textile-like texture], but this is an earlier, more traditional technique. The pattern is so precise, so beautiful. Each dot is individually engraved in the most delicate way to create a kind of softness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
