While the Oscars are technically about honoring films, we don’t think we’re alone in loving the trappings of the Academy Awards a bit more than the awards themselves. We’re referring to the oversize helping of glamour that surrounds the big night \u2014 the celebrities, the parties, the fashion! <\/span><\/span>It doesn’t matter the era; we’re equally enamored of Hollywood’s Golden Age as we are of it’s digital age.<\/p>\n

So consider the following just a bit of a visual mood-maker in advance of this Sunday’s broadcast. We don’t care (too much) who wins, but we sincerely hopes that no one skimps on the sequins or champagne!<\/p>\n\t
