DS-611/93 large coffee table by De Sede. DS-611 coffee table series is a stylish counterpart to the sofa for use in home as well as public interiors. Modern Pendant with Colored Glass in a Brass Burnished Finish, Ersa Collection
By William Brand
Located in Naarden, NL
The Ersa, a modern chandelier vertical in a brass burnished finish with iridescent glass spheres, is designed by William Brand, founder of Brand van Egmond. Whether arranged in an entrance, a hallway or staircase, or other high space, the Ersa modern chandelier vertical will be a real eye-catcher as a single lighting piece or when grouped together. In fact, there are no limitations as to where this Ersa chandelier can be positioned due to the variety of sizes, optional finishes, or the many composition possibilities. Ersa, named after the ancient Greek goddess of morning dew, draws inspiration from that most magical moment of the day: the sunrise. Early morning, when the first light of day sends the darkness of the night away, we can see one of nature’s wonders on display: dew drops formed throughout the night. Just as the change of temperature on a surface creates dew, also new finishes and materials are born under shifting conditions. The iridescence on our glass, leading to the gradual change of color as the angle of view or illumination changes, radiates a stunning glow. The Ersa Collection...

Artemide Gople Classic Max 22W E26 Ceiling Light in White by Bjarke Ingels Group
By Artemide
Located in Hicksville, NY
Gople Lamp is the latest product in the ongoing collaboration between Artemide and Bjarke Ingels Group. Gople is crafted of a pill shape, the glass is blown according to ancient Venetian techniques in Murano. The shape of the glass helps the light to diffuse a soft glow throughout, creating a comfortable ambience. The Gople family is enriched with new versions available in a smaller size. Gople is now available as a table and floor lamp, in addition to the suspension. The new additions feature the same pill shaped diffuser crafted of handblown glass. Gople Mini is available in a suspension, table, and ceiling version. The basic form of the Gople Lamp enhances the beauty of glass, hand-processed according to an ancient Venetian technique that gradually turns white glass into crystal glass by combining both upon blowing, thus making each piece unique. More innovative finishes are added, including silver or copper vacuum metallization. The silver, bronze, copper, and blue finishes are made with an innovative and sustainable metal vacuum deposition process. From the point of view of environmental-friendliness, “sputtering” is the absolutely cleanest coating technology for the type of metal used and because all emissions are abated, in particular those into the atmosphere of sulfuric acid and cyanides produced by galvanic processes. Solid paint with up to 5% of solvents (compared to 75% of traditional products) is employed for the secondary protective clear coat phase. The process generates very little waste and the resulting finish is particularly resistant over time. In any of these cases, glass finishing is designed to ensure the best relationship with the emitted light, screening the source and maximizing direct emission through transparency. The most basic version with the traditional E26 or E12 joint is designed to provide different performance levels compared to the more innovative RWB version, where colors can be combined with each other to create the desired lighting scenario. Additional Information: Materials: Chrome metal canopy and diffuser in handblown glass Color: Transparent (Diffuser), Chrome (Canopy), White (Gradient...

Beam Pendant 84 in Opal by Ravenhill Studio
By Brendan Ravenhill
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Our Beam Pendant is our take on the classic typology of shop lamps, using strips of high efficiency LEDs instead of old school (and inefficient) fluorescent tubes. The Opal Beam Pendant uses a strict material palette of extruded aluminum and rolled acrylic. We join and shape these materials into a fixture with angled sides and rounded ends that imply movement and directionality, not simply an elongated rectangle, but a bold graphic line floating in space. The effect of each considered part combines to create the Beam Pendant, a refined linear fixture...

Michael Bauer Baba Creme Limited Edition Print
By Phaidon
Located in New York City, NY
Print Full bleed six-color silkscreen printed on Letra Ecru 300 gsm Measures: 34.00 x 24.50 in 86.4 x 62.2 cm Edition of 50 This work is signed and numbered by the artist on recto. The imagery for this edition is derived in part from what Michael Bauer calls his “telephone drawings”—quick, loose sketches made while talking on the phone or otherwise distracted. Bauer saves these doodles, no matter how rough or silly, and uses them as raw materials to be copied, scanned, altered, and combined. Bauer often works in series, making groups of paintings that metaphorically “talk back” to one another while simultaneously standing on their own as individual works. As he says, “Every painting that I do relies on the last twenty I did.” In a neat literalization of his process, this print includes the words “baba” and “creme,” recurring terms Bauer uses as verbal readymades for their phonetic qualities and mutable meanings. The amorphic, animalistic forms of German painter Michael Bauer are built upon color washes, meandering lines, and bulbous protrusions. Utilizing a variety of rendering techniques and materials, including pointillism, text and high-chroma colors, Bauer transforms his free-form compositions into dynamic and ornamented abstractions. He borrows from the colorful tradition of Modernist composition, juxtaposing collaged cutouts with a bevy of 20th century painting methodologies—including Cubist, Pop, and Surrealist techniques—to make the swirling paintings...

Minton Porcelain Centre Piece, Mazarine Blue with Gilt, Sèvres Style, 1862-1870
By Minton
Located in London, GB
On offer is a sublime and very rare centre piece made by Minton between 1862 and 1870, which was the Victorian era. The centre piece is made in the Sèvres style and decorated in a mazarine or cobalt blue ground with rich and very fine gilding. The piece is probably made as a potpourri. This piece would make a fabulous display on your Easter, Thanksgiving or Christmas table! Minton was one of the pioneers of English china production alongside other great potters such as Spode, Davenport, Ridgway, Coalport and others. They were located in Staffordshire and were known specifically for their wonderfully fine white bone china and bright colours; there is a colour called "Minton Blue" which is a fresh azure blue that was very fashionable during the Victorian era. Throughout the different phases of its existence, the factory made top quality creamware, porcelain, majolica and ultimately the finest parian porcelain. Minton excelled in their decorations and gilt work; these were often executed by artists who came from the Sèvres factory in France and brought their skills with them. This large centre piece consists of three pieces: the base, the actual comport that can hold a liberal amount of food such as a large piece of game, and the cover. That being so, these pieces are more known for their decorative value and make a stunning display at the centre of a table setting. This piece is not documented and no pictures are known of it other than one I have heard about in the grapevine but never seen myself: an image in a collection of images of the designs made by Minton for Thomas Goode, the famous retailer in London. The relationship between Minton and Thomas Goode was a long and fruitful one. Goode, who was a close friend of Herbert Minton, commissioned a series of Victorian ornamental pieces in imitation of the late 18th Century Sèvres pieces that Goode had in his own collection. Minton did not just copy the Sèvres pieces, but created entirely new ones using the old 18th Century designs, hereby moving decidedly away from the English Rococo style, which had become increasingly strange and a little tired over the years. Minton, who had taken on Léon Arnoux, previously a painter at Sèvres, as Art Director. Arnoux was able to revive the design of ornamental wares in English soft paste porcelain...
