Mid-century ceramic decorative plate by Claude Vayssier for Cerenne Workshop (circa 1950s). This ceramic plate with a fish incised in the centre over the lustrous black background is signed by Claude Vayssier, the decorator. Wonderful ceramic vase with futurist-style airbrush decorations, signed and numbered under the base, with object number, decoration code, and format code, made by the Galvani manufacture. Very high artistic quality of the object, note the beauty of the decorations of the fawn portrayed, the beauty of the light and dark present that create a superb contrast, which are among the most important futurist decorations in the world as any expert will know. The "Galvani" ceramic factory in Pordenone was founded in 1811 by Giuseppe Galvani.
