About Scarpidis Design
Scarpidis Design is a bespoke architecture and interior design firm based in New York. Our goal is to create functional aesthetic experiences that uniquely blend our team's expertise and our clients’ imaginations. While our focus has been primarily on high-end luxury residences with exceptional resale value. We also manage boutique commercial projects. Before founding Scarpidis Design, Yorgos A. Scarpidis spent more than ten years as the Associate at The Office of Thierry W. Despont, working on several major residential and commercial luxury projects in New York, London, Paris, Bahamas, Hamptons and St. Moritz. His most notable projects include a triplex penthouse at 740 Park Avenue, and grand residences at The Plaza as well as the 45 Park Lane Hotel in London. Prior to that, Yorgos worked at Clodagh Design International and Gwathmey Siegel & Associate Architects.
Creating each client’s utopia requires a blend of architectural, interior, furniture, & lighting design. Every project that we undertake is guided by an aesthetic forged through close collaborative partnerships with our clients and guided by our years of experience in creating elegant, functional and timeless design. To ensure a truly distinctive space, we also offer a signature furniture line and exclusive, made-to-measure pieces that serve as seamless extensions of the environments in which they reside. Recognizing that nothing changes the atmosphere of a space more dramatically than lighting, our technicians and designers create custom light fixtures and lighting schemes that add depth and vitality to every space. Scarpidis Design has received numerous national and international awards and recognition, and has recently been featured in Architectural Digest in the US and Mexico amongst several notable publications.
