This ink drawing on paper entitled "Star Shining" was created by Donald Stacy, a talented artist who studied at the Newark School of Fine Art, the Art Students League, Pratt Graphic Arts Center, University of Paris, and University of Aix-en-Provence. Stacy also taught at various institutions such as the Art Department of the New School, Museum of Modern Art, School of Visual Arts, and his own Stacy Studio Workshop.
The artwork, measuring 14"x16.5" unframed, was produced in the 1950s and is in excellent condition with minor wear consistent with age and history, including discoloration and small tears around the edges. Although the piece is unsigned, it came directly from the artist's estate, adding to its authenticity and value.
