About the Item

This sculpture is made with 316L stainless steel by Lutfi Romhein. A 2 mm-thick stainless steel sheet was cut, folded, welded at some joint points, with a polished and sanded finishing. The sculpture is welded to its base of 25 cm(width) x 15 cm(depth) x 0.2 cm(thickness). It can be placed outdoors as well as indoors. A graduate from the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrare, in Italy, Lutfi Romhein is a sculptor of Syrian origin, living in France since the mid-2000s. Lutfi Romhein likes to explore a diversity of styles, but also of materials : marble, fine woods, stainless steel, slate, plexiglas… He is particularly renowned in Syria, the Middle East and in Italy.
