Chinese Kangxi Octagonal Famille Verte Floral Painted Porcelain Vase

About the Item

A scarce Chinese Kangxi porcelain octagonal yen yen vase decorated with vases containing floral arrangements in the Famille Verte palette and dating between 1662 and 1722. The vase is hand painted to each of the six sides with a simple red painted pattern around the inside top edge. The vase has an unglazed octagonal shaped foot and is not marked. Offered in good presentable condition with glaze fritting to the top rim and base edge and with a couple of larger chips to the top edge.
