Monumental 18" Antonio da Ros for Cenedese Italian Murano Glass Bowl

About the Item

Monumental 18" large and rare signed red 'Scavo' glass bowl or centrepiece designed by Antonio Da Ros (1936-2012) for Cenedese Vetri Murano glass circa 1984. Made of red or orange Murano art glass using the 'scavo' technique, giving the glass the resemblance of historic roman glass which has been excavated after hundreds of years. Signed and with original labels - very rare in this condition and the size is just exceptional. Paper label reads: 'Cenedese Glass' 'Murano' '2/84/100' 'Made in Italy'.
