Pink and Green Murano Centerpiece Bowl by Archimede Seguso, 1950s

About the Item

Large, monumental and heavy art glass bowl. Made from cased green main glass with a center in sculpted pink and clear glass. It shape, colors and delicacy mimics an exotic water lily. It was designed by Archimedes Seguso during the late 1950s and manufactured at Seguso in Murano Italy. The style of this piece is reminiscent of Flygfors and Josef Hospodka.
