Wedgwood Jasperware Lidded box, England, 20th century. This is a quintessential piece of Wedgwood Jasperware. Lidded box in the famous Jasperware blue and white decor. Neo-classical and elegant. Please note the beautiful white decoration with great details and the wonderful blue color. A great piece for a Wedgwood collector, but also very suitable for someone who likes stylish ceramics in general. Usable on a day to day basis, but also great as a decorative item. Great vintage condition with no faults. Signed underneath with Wedgwood England.

Rolling vine and grape cameo reliefs, all over the lid and base sides. Fabulous large pointed finial on the lid with floral cameo reliefs on the sides. Exterior in an unglazed matte biscuit finish, but the interior of the box base, has a high gloss finish. In very good original condition, save one minor repair to the inside of the base rim. Not very noticeable but reflected in the reduced pricing. A ‘PERFECT’ match for the smaller and almost identical, lidded jasperware box...
