About the Item
Handsome pair of die-cast zinc candelabra entitled chorus designed by Karim Rashid for Umbra. The pair are in fabulous pre-owned condition. They even have their original boxes, circa 2004.
These candelabra are simply stunning. Described by their designer, Karim Rashid, as “sensual minimalism”, they are sturdy but sleek awe-inspiring pieces of decorative art. Comprised of die-cast zinc with a matte chrome plating. Rashid has been deemed one of the most prolific designers for his generation and has won many awards and accolade for his efforts in design. We are selling these as a pair because they look so fabulous that way! Make them yours.

Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. There are a few chips, nicks, or dings in the wood veneer and some rust spots on the brass plated steel bands. The smaller veneer flaws were filled while larger pieces were replaced for restoration, and it looks beautiful. The bands have been professionally cleaned and we left them with their small scratches, rust spots, and age marks as we did not want to change the authenticity of the piece and honestly, we love the look of a little age patina.
