These fabulous 19th century neoclassical French cassolettes have an athénienne form and are composed of bloodstone ornamented with beautifully detailed ormolu mounts. The green ovoid vessels are flecked with red and are each supported by three gilt bronze legs finished with rams hooves at the bottom and rams heads at the top. A central ring holds the legs firmly in place. The upper portion of the vessels bear wide gilt bronze bands decorated with floral and foliate motifs. The undersides are finished with a series of detailed leaves separated by stems and small berries with pinecone pendants...

This lovely 6-piece bronze doré desk set was made by Tiffany Studios of New York. The early 20th-century set has a warm golden finish with its original patina and has been made in Tiffany's popular Zodiac motif featuring stylized depictions of the 12 signs of the Zodiac set in ovoid cartouches. The Zodiac signs are set amongst intricate Celtic-style knots. The desk set is comprised of a 2-row letter rack, a pair of desk blotter ends, a pen tray, a letter opener, and a large inkwell fitted with a hinged lid. The inkwell comes complete with its original clear glass ink reservoir. This set of 16 Baccarat French crystal glasses have been decorated in the lovely Bergame pattern. Baccarat's ornate Bergame is a variation of the Parme pattern which dates to 1850. Bergame features an Empire Revival motif consisting of etched Birds of Paradise and Sea Horses along with scrolling decoration, all of which are accented in gilt. The glasses have been finished with other decorative elements including a series of vertical prismatic mitre cuts with angular tops resembling sword tips that are located immediately beneath the gilt etched decoration. The tapered paneled stems have six sides and the feet are rimmed in gold. The underside of the glasses carry the acid-etched Baccarat mark. Eight of the glasses stand 6" tall while the other eight stand 5" tall. The taller glasses can be used for water or wine while the smaller glasses can be used for champagne, port or sherbert. This exceptional late 19th century three-piece French garniture includes two footed urns and a low footed centerpiece bowl. The urns and bowl are composed of patinated bronze with ormolu mounts which include neoclassical mask detail and rest on square marble plinths with ormolu bases. The pieces have distinctive elongated handles at the sides which terminate in stylized pendant decoration. As seen in the accompanying photographs, the exterior of the urns and bowl feature applied bronze decoration in the form of ornate foliate swags with flowers. Please be sure to zoom in on the photos to better appreciate the detail of the cast decoration, it is impressive. The urns stand 15.75" tall as measured to the top of the rims.
