Scandinavian modern candlestick holder by Lars Holmström, Arvika Sweden. The candlestick holder has seven arms and boasts a geometric but simplistic design. It is made in brass and has the authentic patina of time. A candlestick holder is a simple but striking way to bring elements of Scandinavian Modern design into your home. The candlestick holder is in good vintage condition consistent with age and use. The foot measures 12 cm in diameter. Lars August Holmström was a Swedish designer born in 1894. He was born in a family of blacksmith and is well known for his works. Among his achievements, he participated in the 1925 Paris Exhibition with candlesticks and chandelier and was commended for his work by the French press. Many of his works can also be found in churches around the south of Sweden, notably around in the capital Stockholm and in Uppsala.
