Signed Cenedese Tall Murano Black Scavo Glass and Gold Leaf Candlestick Holder

About the Item

Signed vintage midcentury black scavo glass candlestick holder attributed to Antonio da Ros for Cenedese Vetri Murano glass with gold leaf inclusions in collector's condition. Made of iridescent black Murano art glass featuring the 'scavo' technique, giving the glass the resemblance of historic roman glass which has been excavated after hundreds of years. Large candlestick holder measures: 41.7cm tall by 12cm in diameter. Signed and with original labels, very rare in this condition.
