Pair of silver plated Louis XVI style candlesticks, Napoleon III period
About the Item
Pair of Louis XVI style two fires candleholders in chiseled and silvered plate. Oval tapered base standing on four decorated with a laurel wreath torus and cartouches. Central structure in baluster shape adorned with acanthus leaves, tapering, water leaves, chaplet.
The two fires are supported by two vegetal garlands shaped arms of lights that crossed each other all around the structure. Top with three grapevines.
Work realized late 19th century, Napoleon III period.
