The gilt bronze case comprehensively engraved, and having a retractable carrying handle; the lever movement driving the petit sonnerie movement, with the fascia indicating, on white enamel faces, the hours, days and months; having an alarm mechanism operated from the back and striking on a double gong. Complete with ormolu plinth and signed to the face, Grohe, Paris
