Rare Andre Villien Paris Art Nouveau quality Bronze & Marble Desk Inkwell Stand
About the Item
Stunning desk piece.
This good size Art Nouveau ink-stand is signed by Andre Villien (see image 7). Villien was a French sculptor and decorator who worked in Paris between 1905 and 1924. The combination of the beautiful marble and the patinated, cast bronze inkwell holders with leafs is a joy to watch and to own. Also makes a great gift.
