Suspended Wood TOTEM Sculpture by Michelle Peterson Albandoz



Suspended wood TOTEM from Chicago artist Michelle Peterson Albandoz. Constructed with fragments collected from old Chicago window sills and frames, the reclaimed wood dates back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The totems are suspended with a fragment of salvaged chain, from a custom Stand constructed by local Chicago metalworker Evangelos Stolatis. Priced individually. Two available. Also available as a custom work, with a variety of suspension capabilities. Individual TOTEM: 14” W x 14” D x 81” H Stand: 18” W x 36” D x 95.5” H.

Customization Options

Totems can be created to spec, and can be suspended from the ceiling rather than on a stationary stand. Please message for further information.
