Art Deco-period bronze statue featuring two flying gulls skimming the crest of a wave. The sculpture is set upon a black marble base. Signed H. Molins for Enrique Molins Balleste (1893-1958), a Spanish sculptor born in Barcelona, working in Paris in the first half of the 20th century. He is mostly known for his theatrical groups and genre scenes, circa 1920 Dimensions: W 20,9 in, D 5.9in, H 15in. Dimensions: L: 53cm, P 15cm, H 38cm.
