Max Le Verrier Bookends Statues of Dog and Cat French Art Deco

About the Item

A pair of Art Deco figural bookends in the shape of a cat and bulldog by the French artist Max Le Verrier. These are silvered finish and arrived without the marble base. We were able to make this custom base fitting which helps to give these two creatures and whole new look. The condition is very nice, showing some signs of use but would look great either used as bookends or small sculptures. Both pieces are signed in the Le Verrier on the circular base in typical fashion. These are vintage pieces and not newly made.
