Plaster cast of The Winged Victory of Samothrace (also know as The Winged Nike) after Parisian marble original on display at the Louvre, Paris,
Early 20th century, Private Paris Studio.
Although the original creator of Nike is unknown, H. W. Janson described it as "the greatest masterpiece of Hellenistic sculpture" and it is one of a small number of major Hellenistic statues surviving in the original, rather than Roman copies.
Measurements do not include wing span.
