Pair of Antique 18th / 19th Century Meissen Porcelain Cachepots or Flower Pots

About the Item

A fine pair of antique Meissen cachepots. With baluster form bodies, shell handles, raised shell & cattail decoration to the sides, and handpainted floral sprays throughout. Dating to the late 18th or early 19th century. Simply a fine and rare pair of Meissen porcelain flower vases or pots! Date: Late 18th or Early 19th Century Overall Condition: They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no cracks or repairs. Condition Details: There are chips to the bases and rims of each (not overly large, but they are present). Otherwise, there is some light staining to the interiors, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Meissen Marks: Marked to the base with Meissen factory blue underglaze crossed swords mark. Measurements: Height: ca. 6 3/4 in. Width: ca. 6 3/4 in. Depth: ca. 5 3/4 in.
