Peat Bucket

About the Item

This is a very large English George III or Regency brass bound mahogany peat bucket. The bucket is in overall very good condition. The bucket features side open finger holds; tin liner is a replacement, but appropriate. The brass banding has loosened a bit due to normal age shrinkage. The mahogany has acquired a rich natural patina.
