A fine quality late 19th century French Sevres style lidded porcelain comport, having wonderful gilded ormolu finial, handles, mouldings and base. Hand painted romantic scene of lovers to the lid, a floral band of decoration between a cobalt blue ground with gilded classical motif designs.
