Antonio da Ros for Cenedese Murano Glass Set of Vibrantly Colored Vessels

About the Item

Extraordinarily rare signed set or ensemble of 'Opalino' Murano glass bowls, vases and vessels designed by Antonio da Ros (1936-2012) for Cenedese, circa 1970-1990. Wonderful translucent colors of vibrant blues, aubergine, moss green and pink. Simplistic yet elegant forms - almost futuristic - especially the pink 'jellyfish' bowl, which can flipped over to be used, in conjunction with another bowl, as a dipping bowl. Very fun to dine with the vibrant Murano glassware. Vases measure approximately 25cm tall by 14.5 in diameter Bowls measure approximately 9cm tall by 23.5 in diameter Jellyfish bowl measures approximately 6cm tall by 36cm in diameter. Sold as a complete set - also available in our 1stdibs store in other sets as just bowls, just vases or dipping bowl.
