About the Item
Early modernist stoneware vessels designed by Anna-Lisa Thomson, for Upsala-Ekeby, Sweden, 1930s.
Comprising:
1 - a pitcher and four mugs in marbleized yellow outer glaze, with inside and handles glazed in orange glaze.
2 - a gorgeous dark brown outer glaze, squash shaped body with reverted beak and handle glazed in orange
3 - a vase satin beige outer glaze, amphora shaped, double handles glazed in glossy black.
Each marked EKEBY and form number to the bottom. Excellent condition all pieces.
Dimensions:
1 - Pitcher: diameter 9.5 cm, height 15.5 cm, width with handles 15 cm
Mug: diameter 6 cm, height 6 cm, width with handles 8 cm.
2 - diameter 12 cm, height 10.5 cm.
3 - diameter 13 cm, height 17 cm, width with handles 16 cm.
