Gorgeous French Art Deco Frosted Glass Vase by Hunnebelle

About the Item

This gorgeous vase was handblown in frosted glass with a deco tropical fish motif, resembling stylized yellow tang, on each of the four sides. The fish are presented against a mottled background surrounded by an organic pattern that suggests the agitated surface of the sea. This is a beautiful example of Art Deco glass, sure to delight collectors of the period as well as those looking for a stunning decorative object for atop a side table or étagère. With its rich texture and neutral opalescent hue, it is as versatile as it is aesthetically appealing, complimenting any style of decor from Art Deco to contemporary. It is signed on the bottom "A. Hunnebelle." Excellent condition, France, circa 1930 Dimensions: 9" diameter X 9" height.
