Midcentury Ceramic Studio Vase, Sweden

About the Item

Rare studio work vase with a raw unglazed surface decorated with different funghi/mushrooms and ferns. The rim of the vase as and bottom are also glazed. It has weak marks in pen by the base which are hard to read but one work says Kalmar which is a city in the south of Sweden. It is clearly midcentury and even if it is unsigned it is of a very high quality and by a skilled pottery maker.
