Pair of Mid-Century Modern Styled Venini Art Glass Kukinto Vases by Sarpeneva

About the Item

This pair of art glass Kukinto vases were designed by Timo Sarpeneva for Venini. The set is composed of one extremely large vase with multicolored bands or ribbons running down each side, and one done in the same style, but much smaller in size. The multicolored bands reflect the light in each of the various colors used, and in various combinations depending on the direction of the light. The two vases are handmade in Murano Italy, and both are signed and dated on the bottom of each base. These vases were produced in 1998 in the style of Mid-Century Modernism.
