Set 6 Flutes and 6 Stem Glass Cenedese Murano Cobalt and Gold Accents, 80s

About the Item

Extraordinary set of 6 stemmed glass from Cenedese. The stem is blown glass rather than solid glass, resulting in a tall and thin cup. There is a fine cobalt rim at the mouth, a cobalt separator and gold leaf at the neck. Exquisite manufacturing. The blue rim is highlighted on the table setting and the gold leaf button picks up the light. From the same lot as other signed Cenedese glasses. The quality of glass also confirms provenance. Extremely light and pleasant to handle. The large one can serve as a water or wine glass, whilst the flute is for sparkling wine. Attributed to the 80s decade as cobalt blue was a very popular color at the time. One flute is missing a spacer. It was probably made like that. There are some sliding scratches under the base here and there but the rest are in pristine condition. The measurements of the flute are listed here again: Wine: Height 22,5 cm (9") diameter 8 cm (a bit more than 3") Flute: Height 25 cm (10") diameter 7 cm (a bit less than 3").
